About the Draft Analyzer
The Draft Analyzer is the primary product of Advanced Sports Media, LLC (ASM), a privately held start-up. ASM designs, develops and markets innovative internet based applications for sports fans and fantasy sports participants. The Company has won industry awards for its products and has marquee partnerships with CBSSports.com, ESPN and several other leading fantasy sports companies. ASM's current Internet properties include www.draftanalyzer.com, www.playersearch.com (alpha) and www.sportsreader.com (alpha).
Advanced Sports Media was launched in 2004 in San Francisco, CA as Draft Dynamix to address an unmet market need for an advanced draft assistance tool for fantasy football that went beyond static and outdated rankings provided by magazines. The dynamic draft analytics included in the original desktop prototype caught the attention of several leaders in the fantasy sports industry and as of November 2009 have a U.S. Patent. After a few bucks of investment the Draft Analyzer quickly grew from concept to market leader in a critical and rapidly growing niche of fantasy sports. The Draft Analyzer is now sold by more leading fantasy sports companies than all of our competitors combined including four of the top six fantasy football commissioner services (CBSSports.com, ESPN, Fanball.com, RTSports.com).
Advanced Sports Media is a proud member of the Fantasy Sports Trade Association (www.fsta.org) and the Company's founder, Ted Kasten, is currently a Board member of the FSTA.
The Founders
Ted Kasten
The idea for the Draft Analyzer grew out of Ted's experience as commissioner of his favorite fantasy football league that started in 2000. Ted needed help tracking all owners draft picks during the off-line draft and, more importantly, needed personalized draft advice to optimize his team and prevent him from making mistakes. He built a prototype in MS Access, lent it to friends and it is now a patented product sold by ESPN and CBSSports.com. Ted has an economics degree from Colby College, an engineering degree from Dartmouth and an MBA from Kellogg.
Robin Pars
Robin joined Advanced Sports Media in 2007 and has 14 years of professional development experience, has co-authored 7 programming publications and worked on Microsoft's first Internet Explorer browser. Robin has a Computer Science degree from UC-Irvine.
