Why do my DT projected fantasy points look different in the Draft Analyzer from those on CBS?
- 80% of leagues will have identical DT fantasy points as those listed on CBS Sports. Others will have slight differences based
on the calculation used to combine scoring rules and projections. The Draft Analyzer uses all of CBS's projections (combined with all of its scoring rules relevant for draft day) to calculate fantasy points.
CBS Sports has a more simplified fantasy point calculation.
**** Note: CBS's calculation is only simplified for Projected Points, not the actual calculations during the season.
- The difference in the fantasy point calculation will occur with Points Allowed(PA) and Yards Allowed(YA). The Draft Analyzer uses actual
projections for PA and YA, whereas CBS Sports uses estimated averages. Both are reliable and will help you optimize your DT draft pick.
How do I sync with CBS?
- To sync your live online draft with the Draft
Analyzer, first login to the Draft Analyzer from the
CBS Draft Analyzer login page. Select the league you
are drafting with from the tabs at the top of the
draft board. Then go to the Settings tab and click
on the drop-down menu "Select Draft Sync Mode" (see screenshot).
Select an update interval, and then click "ok."
- When the Draft Analyzer is in sync mode, it will
automatically download picks made in the CBS draft
room. The sync feature will only work during your
actual online draft time.
Will the sync feature with CBS mock drafts?
- The Draft Analyzer does not sync with CBS mock drafts.
